The Trinket Parlour Guest Designer Project 2

Hello my dears,  I'm here to share my second
completed project as Guest Designer for

The Trinket Parlour

I've used some more of the lovely contents of
the September trinket box

Here are just a few of the items from the delicious box.

I decided to decorate a small octagonal kraft gift box and
a matching kraft gift bag.  I started by painting the box
with white gesso

Using one of my dies I cut the cellophane to
the size of the box, if you don't have a die you could trace
round the lid and cut manually.

I used clear adhesive to glue the cellophane to the box
and to the gift bag.  Once the adhesive had dried clear it
was as easy as choosing which elements to add as
decoration.  From the Trinket box DT pack I used the lace,
flowers, cherubs, angel hair, pearl stips
and added my own tags and sentiment.

Thank you so much for popping in to visit.  I'll be back
with another project for The Trinket Parlour next week.

Butterfly Kisses Mini Album!!

Good morning my dears,  I'm here today to share my
latest mini album using the adorable Bo Bunny
Butterfly Kisses papers along with some TH dies
and pretty floral embellishments.

This is a 6.5" x 6.5" album and has been made from
scratch using mount board for the front, back and spine.

I used bazzil card stock to cover the outer and inner sections
with Kraft card for mounting and layering on all the pages using the pretty Bo Bunny paper collection.

There are six pages inside with pockets, belly bands, double
opening sections with magnetic closure and a zillion
photo mounts and tags incorporating Spellbinders dies
Marianne Design Dies, Doohickey dies. etc etc.

I do apologise as it's not the easiest of projects to photograph
and show all the pages to their full advantage, but I promise its
so so pretty.

Thank you for popping in to visit with me, I do hope you
will come back and see me again soon.

The Trinket Parlour Guest Designer Project 1

Hello my dears,  I'm delighted to share my first
completed project as Guest Designer for

The Trinket Parlour

Emily the owner kindly sent me her fabulous August
Trinket Parlour Box crammed with lovely  lace, flowers, resin
pieces, charms, Feathers, ribbon, etc etc.

I used just a few of the items for my first project, I had
a small canvas which I chose to decorate.

Here are just a few of the items from the delicious box.

I started prepping for the canvas by cutting the 2 ply napkin to the
size I required, I wanted it to cover the sides of the canvas. I removed the bottom layer and made my own decoupage glue
by adding 1 teaspoon of water and 3 teaspoons of standard
all purpose glue, mixing well and covering the entire canvas.

I added the napkin using my heat gun to dry it, I then
added my watered down glue all over the surface and once
again used my heat gun to dry it off.  Once dry I distressed
the edges with Crushed Corduroy ink using a sponge applicator.

It was just a case of distressing the resin cherubs,
flowers, cutting the lace to size and placing it all onto
the canvas.  Hey Presto a quick and easy project
that will make a sweet gift for someone special.

Thank you so much for popping in to visit.  I'll be back
with another project for The Trinket Parlour next week.
