My Favourite 5 Christmas projects of 2014

Hello my lovely's,  Well it's Christmas Eve (gulp!!) and I was visiting some cyber friends to pass on my Merry's n Brights for the season and I came across Debby's post ( I nearly forgot about this little tradition that she started quite a few years ago now!!)

I haven't missed one yet and I'm so glad I went out visiting otherwise this would not have made it this year. So without further ado here are

I chose this one because I don't like making white on white cards and I don't do CAS cards either (this is a Clean and Simple as it gets) but I was delighted with how this one turned out.

I love Sylvia Zet (Whimsy) Wee stamps nearly as much as my Tilda's,  just look at that sweet face! love these pion papers too.

Not a card this time but my first ever Tussey Mussey gift holder.  This was a real delight to make once the frustration of making the cone was overcome. lol.

My next choice is this altered brown paper gift bag!! one of my favourite things to make in the run up to Christmas, every gift is given in one of my altered gift bags.  I love seeing my friends appreciation, it makes it all worth while.

Last but not least I've chosen another first for me.  I made this cute Christmas themed picnic basket which opens to hold a selection of small gifts.

In looking back on my post this Tilda must be one of my favourite stamps of Magnolia's Christmas collection.  I've used her for most of my Christmas projects.

Anyway that's it from me for now, but I will be back on the 30th to join in with Debby's favourtie makes of 2014.

In the meantime I want to wish all my followers here on blogger, Pinterest and Facebook  a

Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy 2015

Totally Tilda & Friends #111 Anything Goes

Before
After

Good morning my dears,  I'm here to share my DT project for our final challenge of 2014 over at

Totally Tilda & Friends.

Now that we have incorporated all Tilda's friends you can feel free to use any stamp in your stash , it still must be rubber (No Digital images allowed)

I'll be sticking primarily with my sweet Tilda's (cause I love her to bits) I might occasionally throw sweet Edwin in the mix, but it is nice to have the option of using another cute stamp.

Anyways' I've used Tilda with big rose from the Pink Lemonade collection.  I think she fits in perfect with all the pretty roses on my altered wooden heart.

I've used oodles of die cuts, stencils and pretty embellishments on both creations and I will pop a list of ingredients at the bottom of my post with links where possible for you.

Midweek Magnolias #104 Anything Goes

Hello my dears,  I'm here to share another Christmas gift set with you as my DT project for our last challenge of 2014 over at

Midweek Magnolias

This one has the sweet Divine Tilda from Waiting for Christmas 2014 collection. She has been coloured with Flex markers and Derwent soft pencils.  Tilda's dress and bow are glittered with glamour dust so the colour shows through.

I am ahead of the schedule I'd set myself, in fact I've now got far too many gifts baskets, boxes, cards etc.  Never mind!! I can put them to good use next year. lol

I have two pictures below show that the basket has been decorated differently on both sides.

I've used one of my favourite designer papers - Maja Designs -  I just love the rich colours and wonderful elements that can be used in so many different ways.  These papers are from the 6x6 paper pads Vintage Autumn Basics and Winter Frost Basics.

I will pop a list of the items I've used at the bottom of my post with links where possible.

Thank you for popping in to visit with me, I hope you'll come back and see me soon.

Recycled Christmas Gift Set!!

Good morning my dears,  I hope you are all well and having a great weekend.

I'm here to share my latest altered choccie box ( another one!!) lol I promise I don't buy boxes and boxes of chocolates, my friends and their friends save them for me.

I've had lots of empty boxes in my cupboard since January and I know I will get at least the same amount again this coming January.   I so love recycling and making pretty things
out of other peoples rubbish.

Here is the empty box, all I had to do was reline the inside and stay with pale natural coffee colours for the outside.

My papers are from My Minds Eye 12x12 Lost and Found 2. I don't have many left and I think they are now discontinued so I can't give you a link for them.  I will pop a list of ingredients used at the bottom of my post with links where possible.

Well my dears, that's it from me for now!  thank you for popping in to visit, I hope you come back to see me soon.

My first Tussie Mussie

Hello my dears,  I've been working on this project for a few days now, but I've been waiting for a few items to finish it off and they came today.

I'd better tell you that this post is a bit photo heavy.  I can't think of any other way to show you the different angles and size of my first ever (definitely not the last) Tussie Mussie

From This

To This

This is quite a large Tussie Mussie as you can see by the 12" ruler
A multitude of embellishments, dies, bling, lace, fran-tage, stampin etc etc has been used to decorate it.  I'm not going to go into every tiny bit used !! we would be here all day!  lol  I'll pop a list of items used at the bottom of my post for you.

I'm going to be filling this with lots of little Christmas surprises for the recipient. She can then hang it up as a Christmas decoration if she wants

If you want to have a go at making one of these then just scoot over to Youtube and type in Tussie Mussie tutorial.  there are tons. I took my lead from Roseanne on how to create the basic shape.

I hope you enjoyed visiting and the many pictures didn't take up too much of your time.  I promise not to take so many the next time.

In the meantime I wish you all wonderful crafty day
