My Five Favourite Christmas Cards

Hello my dears, well it's that time of the year again when our Debby has her wonderful 5 Favourite Christmas cards of 2012 post up and running.  Christmas just wouldn't be the same without it.

Do pop over and take part,  it's great fun.

Anyway without further ado here are my 5 favourite Christmas cards of 2012

I chose this card because it was my first time trying pleats
and it's also my favourite colour combo
of icy blue and white not to mention of course sweet Tilda.

My first time making a Christmas card with no coloured image

I loved this one because the image from Lili of the Valley was perfect as a Christmas card for my friend in Japan I looked up the translation for Merry Christmas. (I do hope it's correct) lol

Had to have this one as it was my first card made with
Martha Stewart round the page punch that I actually got right. !!!

Another sweet Tilda but I loved the tiled letters and the little parchment that I hand made.

Well that's my favourite 5 - but honestly I've loved making all my Christmas cards this year, every one of them has gone to someone special in my life.  I just hop they appreciate them. lol.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.

That Craft Place Dt - Snowy Christmas

If you are looking for the KinderStampO Christmas Blog Hop then please click HERE

Good morning everyone,  2 more sleeps and the big day will be here!!!   This is our last challenge for 2012 over at

The theme for this challenge is Snowy Christmas.  I've used a non Christmas image from Magnolia and she is Tilda catching Stars. Coloured her with Copcs and added glamour dust to her crown, wand and stars.

I've kept my card very simple by dry embossing my CB script embossing folder and adding it over the top of some Prima papers. Some pretty seam binding and the little dated topper just finishes it off nicely.

You will find Magnolia Stamps, embossing folder, the beautiful spellbinders lace oval and pretty ribbons over at

thatcraftplace.co.uk  either on our facebook page or online store.

I would just like to take this opportunity of wishing you all a very

Last Minute Christmas Card

If you are looking for the KinderStampO Christmas Blog Hop then please click HERE

Good morning my lovelies,  I'm coming to the end of my Christmas card list, which seems to have gone on forever this past 2 months. Although I must admit, I've loved every minute of making them, this is by far my most treasured season, I love giving out hand made cards and gifts.

For this card I've used 3 Magnolia stamps and merged them.  The wonderful fir trees stamp (I've only used 2 of the trees, Tilda with candy cane and Tilda with heart (mini's) They have all been coloured with copics and derwent soft pencils.  Lots of snowtex, glamour dust and stickles have been used around the little winter scene.

My papers are a mixture of MME lost and found Christmas and Magnolia Merry Little Christmas Collection.
Large tree die is from Marianne Designs, and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

Thank you for popping in to visit, I hope you all have a wonderful and hopefully stress-less weekend ahead.

Catch you all tomorrow with my last Dt Christmas creation for this year.

MIDWEEK MAGNOLIAS #42 Home for Christmas

A very good morning to you all,  It's time for our new and last challenge of 2012 over at

The theme we have chosen is HOME FOR CHRISTMAS.  We would love to see your warm and home loving projects.

We are popping our stash away till the New Year.   The Teams have decided to give ourselves a well-earned break to spend time with our loved ones and families and get ourselves ready for the brand new and exciting themes we have lined up for you in 2013!

The Midweek Magnolias will be back for our weekly themes from 9th January 2013

I wanted to make a wall hanging using an 8x8 canvas for a very special Lady who deserves a lot of spoiling during the Christmas celebrations, I do hope she likes it.

I have used 5 different Magnolia stamps, merging 3 of them - Snowy Roof, Pixie Tilda and Welcome to a Sweet Christmas.  The other two stamps are the teeny weeny mini fairy and the adorable Tilda in the Forest. Papers are also Magnolia, striped cloth and A Merry Christmas from A Christmas Story 2012.

Please do remember that in order to be included in the Mystery gift draw from Magnolia Sweden and our Top 3 selection you must use at least 1 Magnolia Product on you creation and only combine your entry with 4 other challenges, that makes 5 including ours.

Totally Tilda - Midway Reminder - Sitting Pretty

Before
&
After
Click to enlarge for a better view.

Good morning everyone,  This is my Midway Reminder project to let you know that you still have a week to enter our challenge at

Totally Tilda

The theme is Tilda Sitting Pretty,  all you need do is use a Sitting/kneeling Tilda on your creation.

Firstly, apologies for the pictures, it's been a nightmare of a project to photograph because of it's length.  So this is the best I could come up with.  I must say though my wee sign looks lovely up in my Daughters house,  it matches the wall plaque I made her last month which matches her Christmas colour theme beautifully.

I bought the wooden sign in the pound shop for 50p as the letters were loose!!!!  Once I got it home I painted it all over with white acrylic paint then chose the papers to cover it.  I coloured up some sweet Tilda mini's (wrapped Tilda, Tilda unwrapped, fairy and Little Tilda which I cut out using an oval nestie so she could fit in behind the O.)

Our sponsor this challenge is the lovely Nikki from

gif maker

This is the prize

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge:  Have the theme of Christmas this week.

Charisma Cardz Challenge:  Have the theme of Christmas this week.
