Midweek Magnolias DT #87 Frame It!!

Hello my dears,  it's time for another challenge over at

This fortnight the theme is "FRAME IT" you can choose to frame your image or like me frame something else on your creation.  I've used one of my air dry clay Martha Steward silicone moulds to frame the cute flowers.

My up-cycled Ferrero Rocher choccie box and matching card are for my friends Birthday, we try to surprise each other every year with something a little different and as we are both crafter it inevitably ends up being something hand made.

Here is the card to match the gift box. I've used Tilda from the With Love collection 2013.  She has been coloured with TH Distress inks.  I've also used a mini Tilda

I bought some TH distress ink pens a couple of months ago and I've been having a wee practice now and then when I can find the time. This is the first complete image coloured with them. Not too bad but still lots of practice needed.

This is the chocolates I bought my Daughter for Easter (I snaffled her box to use for my project)!!! but I made her a cuter box to replace it.

Inside I've filled it up with 6 lovely large shabby chic antique flowers that I made, I also made the one on the front.

Easter Treat bag with Bunny Tilda

Hello my dears,  Easter is just around the corner and as I still had a couple of  treat bags to make I thought I'd better crack on and get them done.

This one was made with just normal white 250gm card stock from Papermill direct, the image has been stamped on the same paper and coloured with copics and Derwent soft pencils.  My papers are a mixture of Tim holtz shabby chic and some freebies I got in a magazine.

I had these cute Egg shaped chipboard pieces so covered them and the flower with some K&Co glitter paper. Flowers are from I am Roses and the ribbon is from

My sweet hiding egg Tilda is from the 2013 Little Easter collection.

Oki dockie my dears, that's about it for me for today, I have my sweet Grandsons coming for a 2 day stay so I best scoot off and get things prepared.  I'll see you all Wednesday with my DT creation for Midweek Magnolia.

Have a lovely day

Gift Bag with sweet Bowknot Tilda

Hello my lovelies,  I hope you are all having a great weekend, it's blowing a gale here in Scotland with torrential rain, not a day for venturing out!!

So I decided to stamp up a few of my images from the new Animal of the year 2014 collection.  This one is sweet Flower Tilda with Bow knot from the Club kit,  how cute is she!!  love this new collection and can't wait to get my hands on the Chinese New Year Animal symbols.  My Birthday year animal is the Dragon and his name is Dexter.  So can't wait to get him.

The new Animal of the Year Collection
is available to Pre-Order over at

Anyway!! I digress!!!  I have a lot of birthday's coming up soon and decided that this year every female is getting a cute handmade gift bag with some toiletries inside and of course Tilda will be the main focus.

For this gift bag I've used cream bazzill card stock and Magnolias Apple Blossom Garden from the Special Moments collection and used the same paper for my Doohickey Wave tag die and cut out a couple of the butterfly's to give some dimension.   I've also used the adorable Doohickey fence die and painted it with white and blue acrylic paint.

Flowers are WOC and ribbon is from the Ribbon Girls.

That's all from me for now,  I'm now going to make a bundle of these to put into my Birthday box ready for when I need them.
